All the pertinent information of each and every piece that makes up an item being worked is made available through a complete bill of materials. Through a comprehensive, yet, easy to use, automated parts ordering system we eliminate the problem of transposing wrong part numbers to order forms and adding time and money to getting a piece of equipment back into production.

The process begins by the customer identifying what parts will be replaceable or repairable items and a fully detailed 3D model is developed. The model is imported into the browser. Once the model is in the browser it becomes fully interactive. The user can move and rotate the model. The user can zoom in and out of selected areas. Each individual part on the model can be manipulated by the user in this manner.

When the user reaches the assembly that contains the parts requiring repair or replacement, A parts list is displayed and the user has the option of drilling further into the model or accessing a particular part’s information by clicking on the part with the mouse.

A part can be selected from the parts list or directly from the model itself. When the part is selected it is displayed in a separate window. Information such as the correct part description and correct part number are displayed.

All of the information on each part is defined by the customer and any additional information can be displayed in the browser part description box.

If needed, inventory and parts cost data can be accessed and displayed, thus, giving the supervisor in the field important information of parts on hand to keep his fleet of machines in service. The supervisor can plan scheduled maintenance, control out of service items and prioritize labor efforts knowing what parts are available.

By giving personnel access to this valuable information, downtime for important equipment is kept to a minimum. Maintenance procedures and repair information can be quickly communicated to the mechanic in the field. The mechanic can watch the entire procedure to repair or replace equipment on a laptop computer allowing total flexibility. We provide total step by step animations with voice over instructions to guide even the minimally trained mechanic through complex repair situations.
