Any instructor will agree that the goal in the classroom is to provide the student with the maximum amount of information while maintaining student efficiency. By putting 3D models in the hands of the student within a fully interactive environment greatly increases training in the shortest possible time. This environment improves productivity, standardizes courseware, reduces facility cost and usage, vanquishing complex procedures in easy to follow 3D animations while improving readiness.
3D modeling is the most effective tool for conveying information. Coupled with interactivity and animation the product becomes the most effective training and maintenance tool in the industry today. Personnel are no longer exposed to long and boring classroom courses that become ineffective in a very short period of time. Students become an integral part of the course having the ability to interact directly with the models in a virtual environment and the information being taught. Instructors become more effective in the classroom having more time to spend in one-on-one instruction. The student no longer has the added pressure of having to learn in a fast paced environment.
3D models are the most effective tool for conveying information. Coupled with interactivity and animation the product becomes the most effective training and maintenance tool in the industry today. Personnel are no longer exposed to long and boring classroom courses that become ineffective in a very short period of time along with working on outdated information. Students become an integral part of the course having the ability to interact directly with the models and the information being taught in a virtual environment. Instructors become more effective in the classroom having more time to spend in one-on-one interaction with the students. Finally, the student no longer has the added pressure of having to learn in a fast paced environment taking shortcuts on what information they can take in that can result in a catastrophic failure.
A part can be selected from the parts list or directly from the model itself. When the part is selected it is displayed in a separate window. Information such as the correct part description and correct part number are displayed. All of the information on each part is defined by the customer and any additional information can be displayed in the browser part description box.
If needed, inventory and parts cost data can be accessed and displayed, thus, giving the supervisor in the field important information of parts on hand to keep his fleet of machines in service. The supervisor can plan scheduled maintenance, control out of service items and prioritize labor efforts knowing what parts are available.
By giving personnel access to this valuable information, downtime for important equipment is kept to a minimum. Maintenance procedures and repair information can be quickly communicated to the mechanic in the field. The mechanic can watch the entire procedure to repair or replace equipment on a laptop computer allowing total flexibility. We provide total step by step animations with voice over instructions to guide even the minimally trained mechanic through complex repair situations.
